This was the one FREE thing we got to do in Branson, and was probably the coolest too. I know Orion loved it, when he sat down in the parking lot a bawled, cause he didn't want to leave the fishies...:D

Oh how cool!!! I would have probably sat down and cried with him! Hey do you have a link for this place? My niece takes her kids to that area camping a good bit....(they avoid Branson in general like the plague...) Also her hubby does lots of renovation work on the vaction homes there...she's always looking for free things to do with her kiddos...

They had a nice video of how they do things, and a small, but really cool nature center...

We camped at Tablerock State Park, and they had some sort of outdoors thing w/ the rangers at 6pm and a night nature walk at 9pm each night...

I had to take a second look at #3. It looked like the one trout in the middle had writing along it's dorsal area.

anybody ever been to the one at Little Grassy?? Its not as big as this one but its still cool.. Its below the dam so they can keep the h2o flowin...

The hatchery is an awsome place. We have a timeshare in Branson and go about twice a year. Everytime wo go we have to stop by the hatchery to feed the fishies. The only thing is that is I do not have any kids, ot os my wife that has to go. Her retirement plan is to get a job at the hatchery.

Trout fishing on taneycomo is my favorite fishing. We have a blast and trout is so yummy.
