here's some links for shooting lighning..I've never really had much luck..I'm too slow and don't have decent view out of the rain or close to the house..I'd have to set up in the middle of the field almost..so...but I say give it whirl!!!

you are light years ahead of me...I cannot seem to master lightning photos at all! Nice catch...send it to kmov for the weather gallery!

That one was a couple years ago, before I got a digital camera. I miss the flexibility of that camera, but it's nice having the instant gratification of a digital.

That's why I had to go to a DSLR..the point and shoot I had just frustrated me to no end...I could not seem to make the transition...

I just don't have the money in the budget for more expensive camera gear. I've still got the SLRs though, so if I wanted to spend the money on film and developing, then wait for my prints, I could always dig them out again.

oh life..I saved and saved for the first one...now when I want something new..I make sure and scare up a job that will cover it...the newest lens..the class reunion job paid for it...everytime I sell some work I buy more equipment..
Doing a shoot with the Miller Girls the 6th of October...that should pay for my next toy LOL I sold my first DSLR to pay for the upgrade to the third one...and I think I'm going to upgrade again by the end of the year, so I'll have a Rebel XT on the market then...

It'd take a lot of side jobs to pay for the one I want.

That would be exactly why I don't have a 5d yet or better yet the new Mark III....(I don't think I paid that much for our house! LOL)
