I'm not sure of the spelling, but that's how my wife pronounces it. This is a Korean version of Vietnamese spring rolls.

The bowl on the left has boiling hot water for softening the wraps. You use the stiff wraps for this. The beef is a round roast, boiled, then cut into strips across the grain. The center bowl on the platter has a mixture of fish sauce Sirachi sauce, and a finely chopped Serrano chile. Around the platter are bean sprouts, bell pepper strips, cucumber strips, and sliced button mushrooms. The bowl on the right has bean thread noodles (rice thread can be used) boiled in the broth from cooking the beef. You can see the edge of the wraps on the right.

Place the wrap in the hot water till it's soft, then lay on the plate. Put some of the noodles and other pieces on the wrap and roll like a burrito.

Pour some of the sauce in the open end, then eat.

This is messy, and can be a bit spicy depending on how much Sirachi sauce you put in the fish sauce.

Mrs Life just told me that I should have bought blade cut chuck steaks for the beef.

fish sauce Sirachi sauce, and a finely chopped Serrano chile

Three of my most favorite things! Not sure how many folks could handle Sirachi and serrano's together. I love the hot stuff though and this sounds great.

It wasn't fiery hot. That is except for me making sure I got more Serrano slices for mine.

This is one of those foods where you want plenty of napkins and you wash your hands thoroughly afterward. They do smell like fish sauce when you get done. :D
