Catalpa Worms... Nasty little beasts really, but they do catch those catfish and do so very well. Trouble is, you have to stand directly under the Catlapa Tree to knock them off the leafs they are feeding upon. They often fall right on you spitting green juice and latching to your face or clothes with a vengence biting all the while. Catching them is a art really and is best left to professionals. They do cost alot but they tend to catch bigger fish. I have seen them sell online for 50 dollars a doz. and people were paying it. I have one doz. I will sell anyone for the paltry sum of $35.00 big ones...:D:D:D

Glad we have catalpa trees around. They sure are expensive little suckers!

I used to have a tree in my yard and we used them a lot, they do work.

It is worth 50 dollars a doz.when you stand out in the hot sun all day and harvest a wash tub full of the suckers. Add a meat eating gene or two. Well then you got someting...:)

They finally showed up on the trees here yesterday :) Man do they ever eat - I've stuffed the box they are in full of catalpa leaves a half a dozen times since yesterday!
