Hmmm I think I've photographed Drake at some hunt tests perhaps? If it's the dog I think it is he's gorgeous and good!

Thank you very much, it is nice to know he made an impression. I think you are on Facebook as you are mutual friends with some of my friends. We live in the Chicago area but have recently bought property down in southern Il. around Flora/ Salem area. He has been an exceptional dog & has received many compliments from the judges as well, this is why I want to breed him & share the wealth of such a great dog.

I will be in the business of getting a hunting dog in the next year or 2, If you dont mind throwing out a round about number...what would one expect to buy a pup for from such a great bloodline?

The value of the pup is a combination of the parents pedigree, the better their pedigree the more value is the pup. Also as important as the pedigree is the physical condition of the parent, the certifications of the eye, hips and EIC (exercise induced collapse), if both parents have these certifications the value goes up because the pups are top of the line. And the market has a lot to do with the value also, if they're priced incorrectly they won't sell.
I strongly believe buy the best that you can afford since you are into a long term investment and you don't want to deal with the vet bills in an improperly bred dog.

Also, the cost of the pup would be determined by the owner of the female. Not knowing the background of the female makes it hard to come up with a value but I would make a wild guess of no less than $300 and no more than $600 I hope that helps

Thanks, that seems reasonable.
