what kinda numbers did your pits kill last year if ya dont mind me asking.

out of the 90 days only 20 we're hunted, and the kill count was 45 geese and 20 ducks, with some close in missed shots also.Mainly the weekends we're hunted the most.This years count should go up considerably with the new edition of the 2 lake pits and more water around several of the other pits.

I grew up in and around that area and it dont seem to have the number of geese the last 10 years or so that it used to. Dont see many out that away really. I remember when around the grange and the antique shop used to be covered in geese.

I filled 14 pits and we have plenty of geese around all year long.Between our place and the neighboring strip pit lakes, we have quite a few nesting pairs every spring.We also have birds trading from bvl,fairview,o'fallon, milst. area as well.
