Came home from work and turned on my favorite deer hunting television channel, and I get a notice saying it is no longer offered... Anyone know what happened to it. I enjoyed all the So. IL whitetail hunts, they all look like my woods!

I have a guy from Memphis coming up to my club this January for a guided goose hunt and was bringing a camera crew with him for his show he had on that network.He calle me a few weeks ago and said (MOR) went bankrupt and is nolonger in service.So he and many others moved to a cable channel instead of satalite for right now.Thats what I know about it.

For those of you that don't know MOR - it's the
Mens Outdoor and Recreation channel......I kinda miss having that channel... I loved watching Giant Whitetails....some of them were HUGE!


Although we have the outdoor channel now and I like watching Mike Waddell better than the giant whitetails.......he is so hyper and gets into it so much...and he is sooooo country too...We would say ARROW he says ERRA...it cracks me up....not that we talk right here either....lol.....

I watched that channel MOR than Outdoor network. I'm gonna miss it.:(

this sucks, befor somethin was always gettin killed now its just every 20 mins or so. befor i could jump from MOR to The Outdoors channel. oh well only 31 days and i can let an arrow fly at my own deer!

Why couldn't they take away some crap channel like MTV or something??? I loved flipping between MOR and ODC. My wife thought it was funny that I was freaking over losing MOR.

Scott was right. MOR went bankrupt :( . Check out the link. And here I was cussing Direct TV and it wasn't even their fault.

Maybe Direct TV will change it to that Sportsman's Channel which is supposed to be ALL hunting and fishing. Probably wishful thinking.

I've got Dish and I was wondering where it went too. Like you I thought it was dropped by my satellite provider. We miss it too.
