Finally!!! Rain!!! rained for aseveral hours very early this am...yipppeeee!!!! Now it's stoppped, and as soon as I can get critter in gear I'm going fishing!

We're going to pick up our boat from some repairs, then my missus wants to go fishing. We haven't been for bout 3 weeks and she's getting itchy.

Got a couple good sized channel cats this am...going to head over to Pyramid and see what's going on over there....brought the kitties home to clean and to have a little lunch then away we go! LOL

We went out on Carlyle this afternoon and in the spillway this evening and got skunked. Nobody around us was catching anything either.

We got the two channel cats at the city lake early and then it was like they all just shut down and went on strike...nothing of any consequence at Pyramid either..tried several of lakes and only a few litle rock bass out of one and nothing the rest of the day...guess it was just a bad fishing day everywhere:(
