The winds blew, the temp dropped, the sky filled with clouds...and still nothing...nada.. this is unreal..all around us rain and storms..not here...where are the rain fairies???

so tell us what kind of filter you're using on these pics?

polarized???

no filters....my polarizer only fits my 50 not my wide angle :( I shot in RAW and then boosted the colors a bit..there's a really nifty tool in ACDsee called the light equalizer that really makes for some cool skies...and will help if you have dark and light areas...like shadows in the woods...if you can shoot RAW do it! You 'll never go back to JPG..there's just so much more you can do with it an d pull out of the file..almost like having film and a darkroom.
If you guys want to make prints..let me know and I'll e mail you the large resolution file....jusr be sure and tell all your friends an nieghbors where you got them :)

Nice, pics........Looks like #3 has some graduated tint....That's about what it looks like here too.....Temp is 84 now..still no rain though....I am so sick of cleaning out leaves in the pool skimmer. With the drought and the wind it is filling up the skimmer constantly.....Hopefully we get some rain tonight......
