Sea trout fishing. Before I moved to Scotland I didn't know what they were. Now fishing for these trout have become addicting. These fish are brown trout that go out to see and then come back to the rivers. They leap out of the water and is an amazing sight. I will say it is a little frustrating to see these fish leap and then you put a streamer right by them and they dont take it. Once hooked they take runs that are fierce and with there soft mouths the hook pops out easy. This is my first sea trout and I'm proud of it. Hooked 3 and only came up with one.

The brown trout equivalent of the steelhead/rainbow trout. Nice catch! I bet that was a lot of fun on the fly rod.
