WINDY, pretty much sums up the weekend. Stayed in the cove our cabin was in for the whole weekend. We caught alot of 12 and 14 inch fish, and then I finally hooked up with this big girl, she weighed 4-14. Also caught one around 3lbs.

Saturday night we had to spend about 2 hours in a storm shelter. The lake came up about 4.5 feet over night. Had to wade to get our boat trailers Sunday morning before we left.

I can honestly say that I've never had to do that yet. Storm shelters, yeah, but never had to wade to get my boat trailer.

Was planning on going down there mid week, canceled after going on a local news site. Said they were evacuating people in lake city this morning. The area between the dams.

Sounds like an exciting trip. I heard on the news that the water is higher now then ever before on the lakes and still rising. Hope it is great when you go back.
