I'll be gone for 12 days in September, wife and I are going to Montana to visit a friend of ours, whose dad trout fishes ALOT on the upper Missouri river and snake river.... equates to freee guided trout fishing.
A wedding on the 29th, harvest season....
September won't work for me but I would be up for it if I can, it is a good thing the new season is here. The freezer is starting to look bare!

You talking this weekend? We have to go up to Streator Saturday to pick up my stepson. He's just getting back from "north of Baghdad".
Due to unforeseen circumstances yet another SILO event will need to be postponed.... ***sigh****

That's right Gretchen. I just hope we'll be able to fit it into the calendar (and gas budget).
Regardless you better get all the deer out of the freezer before season opens. Its bad juju to have last years tenderloins still waiting to be eatin.

Sharing what you have with others always brings good juju. Casting your bread upon the waters.

Thanks duckhunter..I will definitely keep you in mind...we also have a limited food pantry at the library so I usually know who's in dire straights...and folks here aren't like those in the city..they are tickled to death to get a few packages of venison burger! They have no illusion (or maybe I should say delusion? ) that they are eating Bambi...LOL
