And taxidermists all over the area are wishing they could have mounted that one (being paid by the inch, of course).

That crappie's a hawg!

I said that fish was as real as real gets, but I didn't say that the photo had not been tampered with. :D:D:D

You notice he's holding the fish out toward the camera. You camera guys can explain it better the me, but by placing the fish closer to the camera than the guy holding it, changes the perspective, making it look bigger than it is. Don't get me wrong, it's still a big crappie, compare the overall length to the size of the guys knuckles holding it. I wish I had caught that one, it would have looked good on my wall.

That would also explain it looking thicker like a largemouth's body. I kinda figured that was part of the "manipulation". Still, as you say, a pretty nice crappie.

You are correct about the prospective, I think it may have had a little photoshop magic on it as well to make it even bigger. :D

I never claimed to be a expert dude. Since you seem to be a expert in such matters could you point out just how I manipulated this photo in the order I did it. :) Pretty much everyone on this site knows when I'm joking around and believe me if I didn't want you to know, you wouldn't!
