I seen a 95 lbser pulled out at the NE hot water outlet one snowy night....Baldwin Lake did hold either the state or world record for pole-n-line for some kinda of cat for a few yrs about 20 yrs ago.

Hey Eatmordonuts, have you already moved to IL, or still getting ready? One of the few things Illinois has done right is their fisheries program. There are a lot of good sized cats in this end of the state. We've had a few linebreakers. We don't use 75Lb line like that guy though.

wow what a fish, id have to agree i think theres bigger fish in there. i duck and goose hunt about a mile down the road from there.

Alright Gretchen, that sounds good to me! Looks like I'm keeping my boat, so as long as there is not a HP limitation on the lake, we'll be up there before september, even if I have to buy a non res lisence! Thats the kind of fish I'm after, in fact going out for one right now!
