While hunting sheds on saturday I seen something that shocked me a buck with antlers still. Thought they would be of by now.

I live in the Belleville area, and I saw one on Sunday with the antlers still. was an 8, probably about 120 class. I thought maybe they would drop when I was watching him sneek through the brush. No luck!!

Thats a pretty nice buck. I am sure he will be losing them soon.

Yeah I thought it was odd but today my wife seen a 4pt. Even if I don't find his sheds atleast I know his out there for 2010 season and will hopefully be bigger. Time to set my trail cams out. :)

Lordy, Lordy! I was begining to think I was going crazy (probably am anyway!) but yes, I've been going through my spots with a fine tooth comb and NOTHING. Just one shed about a month ago. Put in 3 hours today....first really warm day, thought I was gonna fall over dead (gotta work up to the summer hiking endurance levels with the heat!). That looks like a farm deer. Was it? At any rate, I was/am begining to think something freaky is going on, but I guess they just held on for a good, long while, eh?
