.....and went squirrel huntin Sunday evening.Really only went cause I have 2 boys that were dieing to go.We went to a place that I have never step foot in,cause it was close to home and the sun was going down fast.I ended up shootin one cause he saw us and was gettin the heck outta there and I knew that I couldn't get the boy on him fast enough.

We went again to the same spot Monday morning and no luck.It was HOT by 0730.We probably could have hunted more and killed a few but I remember when I was a kid being drug up and down hills,my feet hurt,my legs hurt,I was tired,thursty,and it wasn't fun any more.I'm trying not to put my kids thru that and make it fun for THEM.

Anyway.The woods are dry and I didn't find any hickory nuts and only saw few acorns.
