Heard a rumor that a new state record crappie was caught here recently at Kinkaid Lake. I was told it was 4+ lbs and 18 inches. If I here more, i'll keep you posted.

I didn't say that I believed him! :cool: riverrat85 03-22-2010, 20:33 well its true a monster crappie was caught but no the state record is still in tact. my good bud's brother caught it at kinkaid weighed 4.59lbs and was over 19 inches long so close yet so far away from the record. he had it officially weighed and came up short.
