I know this is a strange subject but I figured I would ask people I trust rather than leave my self to the perils of the insurance man. My daughter just turned 21 and graduated from WIU. I need to find some reasonable health insurance for her. My carrier will no longer carry her and I won't for much longer once she gets situated w/ employment. Any personal experiences here w/ particular carriers that I should look at that won't break my bank?

If she's in good health I'd just check out the prices on "catastrophic" coverage. (usually kicks in after $5K) And cross your fingers.
I used to have a policy like that for a few months when I switched jobs and was between insurance.

She's gonna be a lawman...err...lawlady..following in her Pappy's footsteps. We're kind of at a weird junction here w/ her just getting started in a
career and mine apparently ending due to what might turn out to be a non duty related disability even though I got run over by a car while working. Strange state of affairs but we'll get through it. I love the job and hope she finds as much satisfaction in it as I did. I've met some wonderful people over the past 26 years and hate to have to give it up now while still a young man. She loves to talk to folks and I've found that to be a sure fire way of getting people to come along to the legal way of thinking without having to put hands on.
