took this last year at the Vulture Festival in Makanda, so it may not be eligible for contest. this photo just kind of reeks the atmosphere from that day, kind of a weird festival, has anyone ever been to it? it is in October, check it out this year. it's a great time to explore those parts of Southern Illinois, my parents were in town so I gave up a weekend of bowhunting to show them around.

I love the Vulture Fest!!! But old hippies tha we are....LOL
I talked with one of the fellas about a month ago and he said they weren't sure they were having one this year. Evidently the gentleman who did most of the organizing is gone and no one seems to have picked up the ball. I need to check with him again, cause I'd like to be a vendor this year...
