I'm sure there's lots of variables, but just a ball park answer could do. flatlander 02-19-2010, 17:03 Saw 4 bucks yesterday one was missing 1 side, (the biggest I saw) the rest all held tight. Can't wait to see whats out there. There are definitely some bones on the ground. The squirrels get to them quick sometimes within a day or so. mattdo 02-19-2010, 21:12 who are you answering to "flat"? I did see that post. but i guess i'm still missing your point. Thanks CTT... I appreciate your answer. A couple of days before the critters get them? I better get out there soon. flatlander 02-19-2010, 21:27 who are you answering to "flat"? I was talking to Bob, thats the reason I quoted him. gretchensteele 02-20-2010, 08:34 I'm still stuck with my same old luck - lots of cool bones but nary an antler....Matt - I've found this right about now is when they start dropping - unlike some of our better shed hunters..I seem to find mine a little later in when things start greening up - and usually they have a little rodent damage...I just can't see the darn things like others here can. Truthfully I keep my eyes open for them year round...and stumble upon them year round.. |
