I think if someone has correct id let me know..but I think that's what this pair is...

and a couple butterflies too...the one on the dock has a little preying mantis peeking out from behind it..LOL

and just go find a button bush and park yourself..there's more flying insects, moths, butterflies than you can imagine on them in the mornings and evenings...

Gretchen, ya out did yourself again! i checked these against the photos I took, and besides your quality blowing my photos away, I think they are the same moth, from what I can find, I think it is a snowberry clearwing hummingbird moth, some of the the hummingbird clearwings are darker. but its all new to me, heck it might be a snow-Wing-clear-humming-berry-bird-moth!

I like your name better! I tried looking it up but they all look so similar....I couldn't decide..guess I'll send to the bug guide site and see what the entomologists folks have to say...LOL
