gretchensteele 08-10-2007, 21:49 lots of good ideas BamBam! I just suck at still life...really suck at it! LOL I may just skip that category....
I wouldn't ....you never know what might win.......I would try to make it personal....what about your camera film, cards, lenses and such?
Or what about any of your MS stuff? That would be neat? Do you have a book about MS?
Try to make it themed maybe? I don't know....Anyone else got any ideas?
gretchensteele 08-10-2007, 23:01 I've got a bunch that would qualify as a still life that I did for one of the MS magazines..they went with an article I wrote about the infusion I get every month...(the drug is new, and the FDA has already pulled as it unsafe once, and let some of us have it back...) still life of infusion equipment....think they might balk at that??? You are full of good ideas BamBam! I do have shot of my very very old camera...an Argus "brick"....if I can find it, I'll pm it to you...
I know! my cane and walker with my running shoes on the walker seat in adoorway to the outside....Bambam you are a genius!!! And I have the Hope stone thingy...
What about taking different pills OUT of the bottle so you can't see what they are with a tall glass of water and taking a photo like that.......
Titled
"How to save a life!"
gretchensteele 08-10-2007, 23:15 You are on a roll! Thanks so much!
You are on a roll! Thanks so much!
Lol.....what about a roll of toliet paper or empty rolls of toliet paper
TITLED
"EMPTY HANDED" LOL oh no, wait my the granny judge might not like that.....lol...
lifestudent55 08-11-2007, 00:58 They might have a problem with the pills. Too many zero thinkers (zero tolerance types) would get the wrong idea and think you're promoting drugs. (It's a crazy mixed up world we live in.) The other ideas sound pretty good, especially your infusion equipment.

The only reason I said that is because that is something that hits home to gretchen. She has no choice but to take the meds or else she would def be worse. I was just thinking like a MS THEME.....:D Usually with Ms you have to take several different meds because you have several different problems. That is why I thought of the pill theme.
Trust me I don't want to promote pills....lol I hate alot of medicine and think that they prescribe too much sometimes and just treat the symptoms instead of the problem! ..You should have seen my friends faces when I said I was having natural child births! lol..and how many times I was asked do you want this? Do you want that? Do you want a epidural? It was unreal how much they offer all that to you and people don't even think about the baby...oh well....
They say, try this, try that and alot of times people get to taking so much they dont even know what there taking or forget why they are taking it. Alot of elderly don't realize the effects some meds have on ya too.....and in return think something else is wrong with them.
I am not saying ALL medicine is bad though...I am just saying they are quick to medicate everyone fast...alot of times before they even know what is wrong...??????

See, you had things right at home in front of your face.....That cane walker and running shoes would be neat and very personal for you. You would def be telling a story in that pic....... Tie a KNOT in the shoes and let them hang off the walker or put the infusion equipment in the pic too and title it
Keep Running
or better yet
Believe it or KNOT!
lol...I am suprized how much you are able to do with the ms!!!! Really..some people really seem to get down. You should be proud of yourself for just staying active.....
lifestudent55 08-11-2007, 08:33 I agree with you Bam Bam. Unfortunately so many people in this world have their views mixed up. That's all I was getting at.
Gretchen, more power to you.
Yea, I know....and you never know WHO the judge is gonna be....

Don't have much to add about the photos, but just have to say kudos to Gretchen for not giving in to MS. Yes, more power to you! :)
