I can't seem to ever recall seeing it.... BAM 08-09-2007, 08:27 Thanks.....this is down by goreville and tunnel hill..actually I think it is someones entrance to their land. Maybe flatlander knows more about it....I just luv that thing. I asked my husband if he could make me one! lol.....It's only trees ya know, how hard could it be right??? LOL Bob 08-09-2007, 08:51 Reminds me of "Meet the Parents"... It's beautiful. What is it? It's an altar. Or you might call it a "ho-puh." Isn't that sweet? Wow. I'm gonna take it over to the Byrneses', and tomorrow Robert and Debra will meet beneath it to become man and wife. And later, when they purchase a home, maybe it will grace their garden. Well, that's my sappy, romantic idea. [Chuckles] Must have taken forever to build. No, not too bad. About 5000 hours. Which isn't bad, considering I carved it all by hand from one piece of wood.THEN There was the fire.... LOL flatlander 08-09-2007, 11:30 Did you notice the huge building on the hill on the other side of it ? I'm not sure if it's a house or church. Its only been up maybe 2 years. I use to see a lot of turkey & deer down along the road there before they built all that and kept the area bush hogged. BAM 08-09-2007, 15:35 no, not that I recall....on the same side of the road? We always see alot of turkey around that area........ flatlander 08-09-2007, 15:48 Same side. When your over near the woods you can see the top half of it if your in a vehicle that sits up higher then a car. |
