I'm assuming you mean Sept or October? Coupla questions...how far do ya wanna drive, how many guys, taking your own decoys and wheelers, wanting to hunt mainly geese or ducks as well? Just a note that you'll all need passports and I would start that process now. If anybody in the group has had a DUI or felony, count on them not being allowed in. You can do a lot of the paperwork up front to save yourself time at the border. With the answers to the questions, I asked, we can give you more specific advice. Here's a couple of good resources as well:

I was informed by a bear hunt outfitter last year that a DUI is considered a felony up there, so definitely get it taken care of with their government as soon as possible. You can get a "pardon" and be allowed entry, but it does involve some paperwork and a payment of some sort. Since it didn't apply to me, I don't recall it too clearly now. Check with the nearest embassy or the Canadian government website. I'm sure it won't be too hard to find the procedures required to get whatever waiver they require.
