Click on those two links and read them. It is Giant City State Park. The Lodge is right next door. Always a neat place to stop in and eat. Giant City also has their own website as well. We love going down there with the kids just because it is something a little different. They think it is neat...lol.

Oh and Giant City State Park is in Makanda.....real close to devil's kitchen and little grassy lake just south of C-dale. We take R148 and take the back way and zig zag along because it is closer for us, but alot of people go to Rt13 in C-dale and turn on Giant City Road and it takes you all the way there.

I thought that's where it was. It's been a few years since I've been there.

The trillium trail there in early spring is a wonderful walk...it takes me forever because there's so much to shoot..but it's one of my favorite...that and the trai that takes you down through the rock walls...can't remember it's name...but it's a good one in the hot weather...I'll go back there to eat mylunch and rest in the cool..I swear it's at least 15 degrees cooler...

bambam...I do better with close ups..my wide shots usally have a crooked horizon and then I have to fiddle with the perspective a bit to get rid of the keystoning...

Neat pictures. I don't seem to have an eye for architecture like you guys. (and I just discovered I don't know how to spell it either) In fact I generally don't pay much attention to buildings at all.

It will be really neat to see what you guys come up with.
