SWAMPMAN 12-29-2009, 10:23 Up here my way where Coffeen Lake is just down the road gets me itching also. It seems the colder it gets the better the fishing. They generate more power at the plant and the more "hot' water released into the lake. Fish from the bank and get a good fire going to keep warm (check regulations on fires first) and enjoy the day. I have to admit it's been a few winters doing this but it sure is fun! There's a parking lot right on the hot water arm so it is convenient for just that and one at the south end of the dam. lifestudent55 12-29-2009, 11:11 I don't know about cats, but I've talked to guys who pull crappie out of Baldwin all winter.
