Headed out today on the last day of rifle season but not for deer. Went to the pond down the road but there was an inch of ice on it. Gave it a go anyway. Fell down once breaking ice out. Thank God for good waders. Saw some geese take off while I was bustin' stuff up other than that nothing. Packed up at 8 and went home. :mad: Supposed to warm up some this week so maybe that'll free up some water.

yea i was out there too, but all the water was froze, was kinda bummed because i brought the boat and did'nt get to use it.:mad: so i just walked to a lil pond. broke it all up from the ice but was no use, kept feezing over every 15 mins. and the fact of too many sky blasters out there got me all discouraged.

im wanting to go all week but i have finals and a bunch of other crap, so probably wont make it out there until the weekend, if the water is thawed out my buddy and i will probably bust the boat out. hes thinking of going out there tomorrow, not sure where hes gonna hunt though. after this week were gonna be out there a lot. we added on to the blind a lil bit too.
