No I didn't shoot this video, somebody sent me this in an email. Been busy the last couple of weeks. Went down to the current river then been working at the National High School Rodeo finals in Springfield. Hope to get back down to the farm next weekend in Pope County.

Golden Eagles are neat birds of prey, hunters all over the world use them to hunt anything from rabbits to deer like you see in the video. There is another video out where the eagle takes a adult yote about 20ft. in the air and drops him. They are very strong flyers.

The deer was caged and released and the eagle was released to kill the deer.

yeah they are used to hunt mostly in mountain areas in the old Russia, the soviets actually used them long ago in wars.
