No I wasn't drivin....:p

My adrenaline is still pumping,.,,,

The guy drivin was jackin around, standing up while drivin, and swerving; I told dude if he was gonna jack around with the boat to sit down while drivin... :(

Fell his ass over on a swerve and the wheel spun and we were on the bank in about 2 seconds... I grabbed the wheel, but it was too late... we rammed the bank full tilt w a 115 going... I hit the throttle at the same time , but again too late... I was sitting in the back so I was close to the controls... It took 2 boats to drag us outta the willows, and back into the channel...

There was a log running the bank only about 10 yds short of where we hit...that would've been bad...

25 years on the water, and that was the scariest experience ever.....:(

Now 2nd place is a small boat in a big storm on 31 mile Lake in Quebec...

it can happen quick, glad nobody was hurt seriously.
that river can be a dangerous place, being so narrow, no room for mistakes.

Glad you're OK. Maybe the guy needs a safe boating class.

No but I was a bit rough with my language... I didn't care if he felt bad for wrecking his boat, I was pissed he put us in a bad situation, and I let him know that in no uncertain terms.

The more time I spend contending with other boaters and jet skiers on these lakes the more I think everyone should be required to go through a boater safety class to drive one. Yeah, I'd be willing to go through it too, if it would get the 1d10ts taught some safety too.

Life you forget, some people you just can't teach.

I reckon you're right. We require licensing for people to drive on the highways and there are times they're just as stupid.

Bob will you ever get into a boat with this fella again ? I'm sure he felt like a real donkey after you told him to sit down and he didn't. Probably not much to say on the ride back to the ramp .

Not if he's gonna be drivin...I now have 2 people I won't boat with. If they NEED to drive, I'll wave goodbye.

I talked the whole way...:D:p:mad: I didn't really care how he felt...

He goes "What Happened?"
Well I knew exactly, and recounted the story for him play by freakin play... Maybe twice... LOL

Bob, glad to hear you are ok. You ever hear Dan's story about his boat accident? It was a doozy.
