I remember some friends and I were crappie fishing a lake in Freeburg about 25 years ago, the carp were spawning in the shallows and one of the guys with me said, I'm gonna put on my carp lure and catch one of those, I told him carp wouldn't strike a lure, he tied on a pink rooster tail, went over and caught one of those carp, about a 3 lb'er within 5 minutes, I went to check it out think he snagged it, but the lure was in his mouth, so ya just never know! |
