we grew this ornamental pepper on our deck last year, then I cut it back and brought it inside just to see if it would still grow peppers this year, it looks healthy as can be for a two year old pepper plant.

BE CAREFUL WITH THE HABENEROS! I could tell ya some stories...it's funny now, but not so funny back then. once I cut them I don't touch the peppers or the knife.

I had a similar experience Monday night. I'd chopped some chilies for lunch and washed my hands several times. My eye started itching that evening at work so I rubbed by eye without thinking about it. I had to flush my eye with eye drops for several minutes. They were good though. Sauteed them with an onion and some portabellas cut into strips, then added a little soy sauce and sesame oil. My wife said they were too hot, but I liked them.

a kid in my class back at high school made $50 on bets when he eat a habenero in one bite, he said he had the worst crap of his life the next day, haha.

I got imaptient last year draining stuff for the fire relish (several types of peppers) and started pushing it through the sieve with my hands...big huge ugly mistake! I spent the night with my hands soaking in tupperware bowls full of milk....and then all the skin still peeled off!
