Started this series Sunday when the Link brought the first bridge jumpers through town...
MadadaM and I tooled about the backroads of St. Clair county this morning grabbing the rest of the shots, from the staging area in Marissa this AM to the installation of the bridge jumpers on Lenzburg Road to the actual 443 TON generator as it whizzed by at a whopping 1-2 MPH

For those who haven't seen this in the news, it's one of the generators for Prairie Sates Energy Campus that was being moved from the dock at Baldwin to the campus at Biddleborn.

Thanks! What was really fun was listening to the neighborhood folks, especially the elderly ones marvel at all of it. Big excitement for our corner of the world :)
