This event is coming up fast. It should be a whole lotta fun this year. A bunch of us have decided to compete 1 on 1 and there's been a whole lotta ribbing over on HuntingNet.

If you're up north this weekend check it out, or stop by and say Howdy at least.

Good Afternoon Everyone!

This is just a reminder that we will be hosting the Wonder Lake Sportsman's Club Annual Fall Carp Shoot this Saturday on August 11th. Registration is from 0430 AM-0800 AM and the Shooting times are from 0600 AM-1200 PM. See the attached flier (first post) for additional details. I will be unable to attend once again this year due to my schedule w/ the Marine Corps, so the Point of Contact for the Club and the event will be Vince Lucania and/or Chuck Conrad. Hope many of you are able to come out to the shoot and hopefully are able to introduce some new comers to the sport and the lake! As in recent Fall events you will be able to tailgate after the shoot and hang out. So feel free to bring out the coolers and grills and have a good time! Thank you for all of your support.

Well it was a great time. The weather was warm, the winds light and the water was as clear as I've ever seen Wonder Lake.
After the weigh-in we got all the club members together for a group photo.

Most of us competed one on one. But that doesnt mean they didn't take advantage of a helping hand (or rope) when it was offered.

Was that pontoon towing 2 canoes? That's one way of getting them out there faster.
