And he said this older couple was right by hit and that thing hit and flew up in the air. Wish I could have got a pic of that. Anyway, he said you should have seen the couples eyes! :eek: They couldn't believe it. B is such a big guy those monsters don't look as big next to him! lol...I told him he needs to bring one of the kids and let them hold em! He said that was prolly around 5lb... Hey that's an idea, maybe he should become a guide down here! lol Smokey could be the first customer....:D huntrz 07-20-2007, 22:43 I remember reading in a fishing magazine about 20 years ago that they did a study on the genetics of largemouth bass in a bunch of different lakes and there were traces of Florida strain Largemouth in the bass in Lake Of Egypt. but that would breed out pretty quick, maybe somebody threw some in there years ago or the fish they stocked originally had some Florida strain in them. Anyway, now that he lives and fishes here , it is his favorite by far......You just get to know your home water better...... Some of these guys he took cracked me up.
