Several good folks from SILO were at Devils Backbone this weekend ether hangin out or camping. Lu and I got to stop in for a few hours and got to enjoy some of the fun.

Did Griswold give you any grief for cooking them beans in an aluminum foil pan instead of a cast iron pot? Looks like y'all had a great time together.

It was a good time and I am not sure Griz had seen the pan of beans, he was frying chicken most of the time LOL

Swampman it is at the edge of Grand Chain just off route 3 south of Murphsboro and yes the weather was wonderful.

Gris, I'm surprised you never said anything about non-cast iron cookware being used. Usually you're all over that. What happened, forget your Dutch oven for the beans? :D
