Well the corn on the farm is now well over 7 foot tall. 120+ acres of it and 40-50 acres of woods.

Deer are practically everywhere where you can see them and ya know there's probobly alot more ya can't see in the corn.

Haven't had corn on the farm in 7 years - it't been beans, beans, beans.

We did good taking meat and an occasional buck or two with the beans but the corn has always assured us big bucks being around.

This season looks to be a dandy. I think we'll skip the turnips this year. Usually the farmer who leases the ground leaves some corn standing here and there because if it's even a little wet there's some lower ground he doesn't want to stick his equipment in.
