Senate Bill 2810 would make it a crime to sell or give an imitation firearm (toy gun) to anyone under the age of 18, defining an imitation firearm as an "object or device that is reasonably capable of being mistaken for a firearm." Please contact the members of the Senate Committee on Law and Public Safety and Veterans' Affairs and ask them to defeat this ridiculous bill that attacks legitimate retailers instead of focusing on the criminals that use firearms, real and imitation, to commit crimes in New Jersey. Please click here for contact information.

Just read this in an email i get from the NRA and was wondering what your guys feelings on this bill is.

I myself think its a dumb bill, it aint the guns or toys that rob/kill people its the people that use them to do so. They need to focus on them people not the toys or guns they use.

Not good enough to just take legal adults weapons now they want to take the kids toy's.

Just like with the real weapons, the criminals are going to use what ever weapon they want while the law abiding people will have theirs taken.

stuck on stupid !

Too true! But don't think for a second that it's just stupidity. They have to divert attention from their failed social policies also. Blag -o- shtuff calls for gun ban legislation when the state has been w/o a budget for weeks.

When rocks are outlawed, only outlaws will own rocks.

Those Chicago politicians are so afraid of an armed citizenry. I wonder why. It's not like we're going to come after them or anything. We just want to be able to hunt, target shoot, and own firearms without having to check every month to see if the firearms we own are still legal.

Yep, if it wasn't for the ISRA the gun grabbers would already have their way in Springfield.
