They kinda let it go down hill since the last time I was there in the late "80's" early "90's". The water used to really pour out that pipe and sometimes there was a line of folks waiting to fill their water jugz. I guess they didn't maintain the spring house and left the water flow out all the cracks so folks would stop gathering water there. After all it is unsafe to drink and all...:rolleyes: Nice picz!!:cool:

Yep.. I don't know for sure but i think there are several springs in that small area. It used to be a very popular spot back in the 30's an d40's. I think the CCC did a lot of work there also.

Yea, but they are crazy they wanted FIVE bucks a person now *kids too*, and no food or drinks allowed in so we were lookin at around 75 bucks for us to swim a few hours! :mad:

I used to spend so much time there I practically had roots, I was raised less than 10 miles from there.
