hAD A GREAT SUNDAY MORNING SQUIRREL HUNT. HAD LIMIT BY 8:30. THEY WAS HITTING HICKORY, HICKNUTS BUT NOT SAWMILLING YET. GOT THE LIMIT OUT OF 3 TREES. SO I WOULD SAY IT IS JUST THE BEGINNING OF THEM HITTING HICKORY HICKNUTS. .22 DID ME JUST FINE. CAUGHT 2 COMING DOWN A TREE WITH NUT IN MOUTH, GAVE THEM A LITTLE BARK AND STOPPED THEM FOR THE SHOT. TRYING TO POST A PHOTO, BUT DANG THING HERE WILL NOT LET ME DOWNLOAD. :)

the one on the left, was a head shot. he was coming down, gave him a little bark to get him to stop, when he did i got him, but came out low back end of rib cage. the middle one, i did crack in the middle, was last one i got, waited like 30 minutes for him to give me a shot. when he did, i took what he gave me. so all head shots except the middle one.

I love when ya get a crack at those reds....some much more meat. Nice shootin' Gris....they are cutting hickory nuts here like nobody's business. Mowing this week might be abit hazardous...LOL
