Actually she did catch a couple whites that were respectable size, but she also caught couple this size (5").

Where were you guys Life. I kept an eye out but didn't see ya. We went N of the tracks and did some juggin' to no avail and then came back and did some trolling west of the silo's. Pretty good chop out there. Kids had to work so we cut out at about 1330. Back out today again.
Can't catch the big ones all the time. When your having fun it doesn't matter what you catch.

She tried out by the silos but didn't do any good there and didn't feel like fighting the waves while fishing so we spent most of our time in Allen Branch. We did take the boat out on the open lake some just to ride around, but for fishing it was a bit rough.
And no, we didn't keep this one.
Looks like fun. Is that on Carlyle?

Yep. We were trolling the south bank of Allen Branch. We tried fishing from one spot but couldn't catch anything. What we did catch was from trolling jigs.
Life,
Wife and I are going to try tomorrow at Carlyle. We will probably put in at Keysport and then work our way down the lake.
I have had some good luck just south of the trax at Keysport.

We didn't catch squat yesterday unless you count the largemouth (about 3 inches) I caught on a minnow while eating lunch. I figured it worked hard enough for that minnow, I left it in his mouth when I unhooked him. How did you do out there?
Sorry I don't have any pictures of my catch. Didn't think about getting the camera out till I'd already tossed it back. :D
Life,
We went out last Saturday, but the water was very muddy. I caught a couple of channel cats and 1 white bass, but that's about it.
I'm going to Eagle lake at Peabody on Saturday morning.
