Stopped at Lake Murphysboro today to shoot the lillies....there were a bazillion of diffierent kinds of fungi everywhere you stepped in the water lily campground, and the next camp ground over...they went right down to the waters edge, on the bank, across the "lawns" I mean every where and umpteen different varieties...it was like Christmas for a fungi nut like me! I shot over 500 frames, and am working them up now...none that I really feel comfortable eating, but again the variety and sheer number was impressive....if you are close, drop by there and just wander through looking down...it is amazing...
