well, RNRH was wanting my wifes recipe for Blackberry Cobbler and I was elected as the transcriber,
figured I'd just post it here for everyone.
All I know is she can whip this together in minutes before she slides it into the oven
and it is GOOD! she said it is very easy.
BLACKBERRY COBBLER
2c. fresh fruit
1 c. sugar
1/2 to 3/4 c. butter
3/4 c. flour
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp baking powder
3/4 c. milk
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
Mix 2 cups fruit and 1 cup sugar, let stand while mixing batter.
Melt 1/2 to 3/4 cup of butter in a large cassarole dish (2 quart).
Batter: Mix dry ingredients (flour and salt), and another 1/2 cup of sugar and 1 tsp of baking powder
beat in milk, egg and vanilla until lumps are gone.
Pour batter into melted butter in dish, Do Not Stir.
Spoon fruit over top of batter.
Bake in a preheated oven at 350 degreez for 45 minutes.
serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
E N J O Y :)
.
REVIZED!
ok, seems I missed an important part of her recipe, I hope no one started making this yet.
I made the changes, left out another cup of sugar and baking powder
