I killed my first Turkey on Day 2 of Youth Season.
It was a Jake...weighed about 15lbs,5" Beard,and no Spurs.I missed him at 15 yards behind some brush.Then got up started walking to the spot I missed him and looked up and at 70 yards I put the Smack down on him.That Franchi 3 1/2 12 guage did the job.I ran to him and he wouldn't stop floppin around.My buddy Joe Chappel told me to put my foot on his head...while doing so I put my foot on the base of his fan....guess what.....all but 1 Fan Feather was ripped out.It really sucked!! I have a Picture of it....but I do not know how to load it on here.....please help if you know how!!
