I am thinking about changing to Rage 3 blade broadheads this year. i have heard good things about them, but I hear they are having some recent problems. Just looking for some advice.

they had a recall on the 3 blade rage heads but its fixed they had a defect in them I beleave. Nothin major but they recalled them just to fix it. Rage is a good company and they make some good broadheads Red Ash Outdoors has been using them sence they came out.

This recall only applies to Rage-3 broadheads manufactured recently. If you bought any in the last month from a dealer make sure you inspect them. The major issue is the way the blades appear as they are in the closed position. If you have a set that has rounded outside corners on the broadheads blades in a closed position then you have a defective set. All of the blades should appear to have blades that come to a point. I received the recall notice today and plan on sending all of my Rage-3 packs back to Field Logic ASAP for replacement. Any consumer can go back to the retail store where they purchased theirs from or send them back to Field Logic direct. The company has taken an aggressive approach to taking care of this problem and I commend them for it as one of their dealers.

IMO...Wensel Woodsman for a three blade, Grizzly two blade. 3 to 1 ratio and opens a good hole.

I used them last year and I LOVE them.I have never liked a mech. broadhead till I saw the Rage,I"ve always been a Thunderhead guy.I shot a doe last year with one and it looked like it was hit with a slug. The deer was spooky and long story short I made a bad hit.And the deer only went 30 yards before it was dead.
