A friend and fellow photog from LA sent this to me.. seems this guy snatched this right where Bayou Bill frequents and shoots (with his camera) If I understood him correctly he was there when the whole thing went down.. - I think it was exciting for everybody in the neighborhood:eek:

Holy smokes...think of the tenderloins on that catdaddy. What a quick thinking dude to cut that line, tie on another arrow and keep slingin'...awesome.

It took him 3 arrows to kill it! Wow! I don't think I would want to go swimming in that water. It might think I was bait.

geez them things are mean looking, i agree with dave about being clever to think about using multiple lines.
Wow!!! I saw one like that when I was kid in Bay Creek in Pope county. It was so big I really thought it was an alligator at first. When it took off water went 20 feet into the air.
