Anyone still crappie fishing? Went Sunday, the 14th, and had 22. Caught in a pit on red/chartruese tubes. All over 10 inches. 2 biggest around 15 1/2.

The tubes seem to work well I've tried them in many lakes and creeks always had good catches. Howard

We (meaning mostly my wife) caught a few this last weekend in Rend Lake using minnows. We've caught them during the hottest part of summer.

What i've learned about crappie is that they are always hungry and will almost always bite, its more a matter of finding them to be successful.
