Good thing the catfish we were catching were bigger. gretchensteele 07-05-2007, 18:19 waiting on hubby to finish supper then I'm to tightline....that's the great thing about the little blue gill...the kids don't care - they are just tickled to death to be catching fish! lifestudent55 07-05-2007, 22:22 A few years ago my wife and I were fishing on the east side of the spillway below Carlyle Lake when an DNR guy came around doing a survey to determine how well their fisheries projects were doing. While I was talking to him a green sunfish less than 2" got on my line. Yeah, it ended up in the survey. How embarrassing! That small of fish in my permanent record. gretchensteele 07-06-2007, 11:55 tightlining did not work out so well...barely got set up and then this! http://www.siloutdoors.com/imagehosting/447468e71c6c123f.jpg Smokey Mc Pot 07-06-2007, 18:23 tightlining did not work out so well...barely got set up and then this! http://www.siloutdoors.com/imagehosting/447468e71c6c123f.jpg ah the good ole (I'm an idiot for swearing)(I'm an idiot for swearing)(I'm an idiot for swearing)(I'm an idiot for swearing)y lake i mean city lake thats a good lake if you know how to catch fish there are alot of big ones in there lifestudent55 07-06-2007, 20:41 Nice pictures.
