My little but bigger brother and I went out to horseshoe lake yesterday and the smorning. We keep a dozen yesterday and maxed out today 25 a piece. We have a big fish fry on the way. This was the first time out at horseshoe lake and we caught most of them on minnows in close to the shoreline and a hand full on jigs. Might want to give it a try. Here is some pics of the bigger ones.

if you take 64 west to exit #6 that hwy 111 take that north intill the stop light make a left and then the next right at the light. At this point you will go under hwy 55 your still on hwy 111 just keep going north and the lake is on the left. I hope that helps. the address is

Nice catch there rich 1833! I haven't fished down there in years. They used to rent boats there. Just put on a trolling motor and off you go. I used to fish around all the duck blinds with success. It was nothing but a magnet with all the brush from the blinds under water around them.
