not wild edibles, but I picked this mater this morning off a plant we have growing on our deck, thought it was the a perfect looking mater, actually this is the second one picked, wife ate the first one without me. I might have to go buy some bacon and lettuce for a fresh BLT! I wish I had time for a big garden, just not home enuf, my little garden 2 1/2' x 4' consists of 3 mater plants 3 pepper plants some cilantro in between, and already harvested the lettuce and radishes earlier.

that is a perfect looking mater and a darn good shot....actually a really really good mater shot!

it was a really, really good tasting 'mater too! I sliced it thin sprinkled some salt on it and bogarted the whole thing, savored every drop!
