THOSE ARE SOME GREAT TROUT BOB! I CAUGHT A 24"er AT A PAYLAKE IN MILLSTADT ABOUT 20 YEARS AGO, THAT FISH WAS BLIND IN ONE EYE AND HAD THE HOOK NOSE JAW GOIN' ON, WAS DARKER TOO, i THINK A SURVIVOR FROM STOCKING THE YEAR BEFORE, NOT SILVER LIKE THE HATCHERY TROUT, NOT SURE IF I COULD EVEN FIND THAT PHOTO. MADE ME THINK WE SHOULD HAVE A FORUM FOR "PICS FROM THE PAST" OR SOMETHING SIMILAR, WHERE WE COULD POST OLD PHOTOS FROM THE B.D. DAYS (BEFORE DIGITAL) IT MIGHT BE FUN TO SEE EVERYONES FIRST DEER OR LARGEST FISH EVEN IF IT WAS 20 YEARS AGO, ESPECIALLY THE OLDER ONES! MIGHT BE FUN, JUST A THOUGHT.

Here are our biggest trout, but they were caught trolling Lake Superior. Not the same kind of thrill, but still a lot of fun.

The biggest trout I've caught was a 28" rainbow while ice fishing in Michigan 30+ years ago. It's the only trout I've ever seen come out of that lake too.

Yep. Tasty too. The first one went on the grill as soon as we were back at camp. Brushed on a little vegetable oil mixed with some sesame seed oil and sprinkled on some salt and pepper then put it on the grill.

It's been a long time since I did any fly fishing, but I was never as successful at it as you. Those are some nice trout you've got there.

Those are some really nice trout Bob. It feels like catching a 10 pound bass when you catch those trouts out of streams. Knowing they are natural trout. Back in Ca, my pops and I use to always go fish streams in the upper sierras. Beautiful and the beer always taste great. Drink Bass and catch trout. LoL
